Privacy Policy
Privacy practices for the nXus website, docs, dashboard, and billing-managed production service.
Privacy Policy
nXus collects and uses limited account, operational, and support information to provide the QuickBooks Desktop API service, maintain security, and operate billing.
Information We Collect
- Account information such as tenant name, user identity, email address, and billing-related customer metadata.
- Operational metadata such as API key records, connection identifiers, request logs, and service health information needed for support and abuse prevention.
- Support and contact information submitted through the Contact page or by email.
QuickBooks Data Handling
Production QuickBooks data is processed in transit to fulfill requests and is not persisted as application data on nXus servers after the request completes. Development and test usage is restricted to sample-company data, and testing traffic may be retained for analysis, abuse prevention, or debugging.
Billing and Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. nXus does not store full payment card numbers. Billing-related customer details, invoice metadata, subscription status, and portal activity may be received from Stripe so nXus can provision or restrict paid production access correctly.
How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Authenticate users and secure tenant access.
- Operate the API, dashboard, interactive documentation, and setup flows.
- Process billing events, provide invoices, and enable customer self-service through the billing portal.
- Respond to support, legal, and compliance requests.
Sharing
nXus shares information only with service providers and infrastructure partners needed to operate the product, process payments, secure the platform, or comply with law. nXus does not sell customer personal information.
